Two weeks of musical goodness

It's 2013.  I never thought we'd actually make it to this point.  I mean, what have the Mayans gotten wrong?  They ARE one of the world premier superpowers...oh wait.  Well, as the world turns, so do the dirty tracks.  It's been 14 days, and ehrmehgawd.  It's gonna be an amazing year.  Like Odysseus and the Sirens.  It's gonna be epic.  Tell your mom.

NOTE:  We don't believe in genres here at SB.  So, just to give you an idea of categorization, there will be a short phrase or sentence to highlight how the track made us feel.  This will be done for all tracks forthcoming in 2013.  Also, we sourcecode-ed most of the stuff, so give each of these producers love on their Facebooks or the Soundclouds.  And away. we. go.

First up is a monster.  Literally, a monster.  It's DELTA HEAVY with their new track "Empire."  No better way to kick off this update. These masters of bass slay you with the banger to start any party. Get #WGW and bust to this!!  Total Hype track! All rise.

This next one is the heavy anthem of 2013...so far.  You heard it hear first.  This is that dirty dub track you'll get nasty to tonight with that lil tasty you just met.  This song will get you in rage mode in 1 minute.  PHUTURE DOOM is an up-and-coming producer out of Detroit.  Expect to hear this one at many shows this year.  As this is their first release, they've not only made a clear statement about their talent but also their immediate impression on the electronic producer scene. (Yeah...big boy props.)  This song gets me exactly where I need to be to rage. LEHGO!!

2012 - YELLOW CLAW's name kept creeping up in my recently liked or downloaded.  2013 - I look forward to seeing the name "YELLOW CLAW."  After his track "Make it Clap" with CESQEAUX, I was hooked.  Another SB fave takes the classic Major Lazer track "Get Free" and becomes a boogie trap anthem.  I know these both have been out for a minute, but he's the artist to look out for this year.  Well, him and ookay, but check out my fave tracks below.  Unh, time to groove.

This is an absolute mindfxck.  Put on repeat. NOW!!  RULE OF EIGHT is from OKLAHOMA! The next greatest thing to come out of there beside a musical about cowboys and drugs (yeah, drugs....watch it again).  Dude's got talent.  This is off his newly released comp., DATABENDING EP.  Go cop it.  The other track's alright.  My bandana is in full rage mode at this one.

Where my house bunnies at?! This track is just for you.  Just imagine yourself getting filthy skanky on the dancefloor to this one.  I hear it and imagine getting showered in glitter...#ke$ha <3
TMARE has been on the scene for a minute, and every track he releases is just that much better than the last.  SHUHANDZ has been on the scene for a minute, too.  With these two mindz behind this monster, one has to imagine what must be in store for the future. DANCE. <3

Hailing from San Diego, CA, this producer is gonna kill it this year.  See what LOUISIANAJONES does with a remix of a remix of a remix?  Yeah, it's that kind of remix.  The creativity and the composition of this track announces the musical talent that brought nectar to my ears.  See this dude spin. (Youtube vid this time because the equalizer coincides with this one.  We like those videos.) Buckwild.

Make room among the stars cause here's the breakthrough artist to watch out for in 2013.  (Do I say that alot?)  This producer got me hooked with his remix of SANTIGOLD's "Creator."  Then, I heard his "Clarity" remix.  I was impressed.  Then, Christmas came.  OOKAY!  He released multiple trap remixes of some great christmas songs, blending both the holiday with the electronic music I can't live without.  I just appreciate that kind of musical personality.  I respect it.  Go check out his Soundcloud in any of the tracks posted.  It's well worth the trip.  Okay!

Time to get FILTHyyyy.  More Bass.  Get ready.  3...2...1....boom. RAGE!!!

There's no altitude between sea level and space that encapsulates where this song takes you.

breathe.

It's a trap, but go check out UFO!  He's making waves in the electronic scene.

TOROLLA does it again.  These magnificent geniuses created a track in the vein of skrillex-ian nostalgia. I have yet to hear a track of theirs that disappointed me or made me think, "eh, try again."  When I see their name, I know I'm going to dance, whether I want to or not.  That's a good reputation to have.

If you are feeling WILD...

or Nostalgic.

With the last heavy track of the post, it, of course, had to be a DADA LIFE remix.  This track seriously surprised me without being overwhelming.  ANDYBODY takes the variety of electro into this mover and makes it cream.  I can rage to dis one.  Yum.

Then DILLON FRANCIS comes along and rips it.
This is what a cloud must feel like pulsating between your fingers to the ambiance of these female vocals.  A ninja-level composition.

This would be the personal relationship I'd have with that cloud... You can't help but love a wonderfully remixed work with Kaskade's lyrics. BRING THE NOISE does just that by elevating your acoustic perception to an effervescent spiritual escape.

Coming back to earth...gently...spiritually...mentally...physically.

Now, remember...click play. die happy. :P

I lied. :D
