Sean x Bobo - Fxcked Up (Original Mix)
This power duo out of Stockholm, Sweden is making waves in the electro house department. With only three tracks on their soundcloud, each one is a funky beat you can just groove to (Forgive the prepositional error. :P). Check out this track if you like when music makes you move.

Two weeks of musical goodness
It's 2013. I never thought we'd actually make it to this point. I mean, what have the Mayans gotten wrong? They ARE one of the world premier superpowers...oh wait. Well, as the world turns, so do the dirty tracks. It's been 14 days, and ehrmehgawd. It's gonna be an amazing year. Like Odysseus and the Sirens. It's gonna be epic. Tell your mom.
NOTE: We don't believe in genres here at SB. So, just to give you an idea of categorization, there will be a short phrase or sentence to highlight how the track made us feel. This will be done for all tracks forthcoming in 2013. Also, we sourcecode-ed most of the stuff, so give each of these producers love on their Facebooks or the Soundclouds. And away. we. go.
First up is a monster. Literally, a monster. It's DELTA HEAVY with their new track "Empire." No better way to kick off this update. These masters of bass slay you with the banger to start any party. Get #WGW and bust to this!! Total Hype track! All rise.
This next one is the heavy anthem of 2013...so far. You heard it hear first. This is that dirty dub track you'll get nasty to tonight with that lil tasty you just met. This song will get you in rage mode in 1 minute. PHUTURE DOOM is an up-and-coming producer out of Detroit. Expect to hear this one at many shows this year. As this is their first release, they've not only made a clear statement about their talent but also their immediate impression on the electronic producer scene. (Yeah...big boy props.) This song gets me exactly where I need to be to rage. LEHGO!!
2012 - YELLOW CLAW's name kept creeping up in my recently liked or downloaded. 2013 - I look forward to seeing the name "YELLOW CLAW." After his track "Make it Clap" with CESQEAUX, I was hooked. Another SB fave takes the classic Major Lazer track "Get Free" and becomes a boogie trap anthem. I know these both have been out for a minute, but he's the artist to look out for this year. Well, him and ookay, but check out my fave tracks below. Unh, time to groove.
This is an absolute mindfxck. Put on repeat. NOW!! RULE OF EIGHT is from OKLAHOMA! The next greatest thing to come out of there beside a musical about cowboys and drugs (yeah, drugs....watch it again). Dude's got talent. This is off his newly released comp., DATABENDING EP. Go cop it. The other track's alright. My bandana is in full rage mode at this one.
Where my house bunnies at?! This track is just for you. Just imagine yourself getting filthy skanky on the dancefloor to this one. I hear it and imagine getting showered in glitter...#ke$ha <3
TMARE has been on the scene for a minute, and every track he releases is just that much better than the last. SHUHANDZ has been on the scene for a minute, too. With these two mindz behind this monster, one has to imagine what must be in store for the future. DANCE. <3
Hailing from San Diego, CA, this producer is gonna kill it this year. See what LOUISIANAJONES does with a remix of a remix of a remix? Yeah, it's that kind of remix. The creativity and the composition of this track announces the musical talent that brought nectar to my ears. See this dude spin. (Youtube vid this time because the equalizer coincides with this one. We like those videos.) Buckwild.
Make room among the stars cause here's the breakthrough artist to watch out for in 2013. (Do I say that alot?) This producer got me hooked with his remix of SANTIGOLD's "Creator." Then, I heard his "Clarity" remix. I was impressed. Then, Christmas came. OOKAY! He released multiple trap remixes of some great christmas songs, blending both the holiday with the electronic music I can't live without. I just appreciate that kind of musical personality. I respect it. Go check out his Soundcloud in any of the tracks posted. It's well worth the trip. Okay!
Time to get FILTHyyyy. More Bass. Get ready. 3...2...1....boom. RAGE!!!
There's no altitude between sea level and space that encapsulates where this song takes you.
breathe.
It's a trap, but go check out UFO! He's making waves in the electronic scene.
TOROLLA does it again. These magnificent geniuses created a track in the vein of skrillex-ian nostalgia. I have yet to hear a track of theirs that disappointed me or made me think, "eh, try again." When I see their name, I know I'm going to dance, whether I want to or not. That's a good reputation to have.
If you are feeling WILD...
or Nostalgic.
With the last heavy track of the post, it, of course, had to be a DADA LIFE remix. This track seriously surprised me without being overwhelming. ANDYBODY takes the variety of electro into this mover and makes it cream. I can rage to dis one. Yum.
Then DILLON FRANCIS comes along and rips it.
This is what a cloud must feel like pulsating between your fingers to the ambiance of these female vocals. A ninja-level composition.
This would be the personal relationship I'd have with that cloud... You can't help but love a wonderfully remixed work with Kaskade's lyrics. BRING THE NOISE does just that by elevating your acoustic perception to an effervescent spiritual escape.
Coming back to earth...gently...spiritually...mentally...physically.
Now, remember...click play. die happy. :P
I lied. :D

What I do on the weekends...
It
begins with a... feeling. Standing in
line, you review the details of the ticket you printed at home or at work. You read the lines you’ve read
repeatedly every day leading up to this moment, sometimes multiple times per
sitting in multiple sittings each day.
The folds of the paper exhibit the fragility of repeatedly handled
paper. Proudly adorned with food
stains and water rings, proclaiming for the world that you lived with this
ticket on your person. You ate,
slept, and dreamt of this. You
anxiously texted and tweeted every friend that matters in that moment and made
it a “family event.” You posted on
Facebook with various obscure lyrics that only aficionados would “like” and
“cool kids” would finish. (The
lame ones name the song and criticize how old it is… jk…but really.) Your entire existence was consumed by
the anticipation of tonight. Armed with the brightly beaded, playful bracelets
that you created with your friends whilst listening to this new mixtape or that
Pandora station, you look at the people in the long, stagnant “will call” line
and muse to yourself, “noobs.”
While
you stand there waiting, you pass the time discussing what tracks you hope to
hear, what things your friend had to go back and get from the car, and which
outfit is most flattering and unflattering of your fellow “line prisoners.” You pray that you fight off the
feelings of your “pregame” and that you can get through the door subtly and
without suspicion, double-checking your stash spot to make sure you really
can’t feel what it hides.
At long last, it’s your turn. You relinquish your grip on the
parchment that symbolized everything you are about to experience. Using your real or fake identification,
you confirm to The Man that you rage but can do so responsibly. Oh, that feeling. The goose prickles covering your
forearms and the back of your neck are invasive, yet comforting. The responsible adults of the evening
award you with another bracelet of paper/plastic or humiliate you with large
black marks to signify your exclusion from the liquids you both know you
already consume regularly. (But
who cares? It washes off with soap
anyways.)
Then, you wait. You want to stay with the group, so you
wait on the coat depositor and the will-call sadist. You, as a group, go to the bathroom. Analyzing your appearance, voiding any
baggage, and ensuring an on-point, group entrance. (I mean, you shopped online for hours, looking for that
bright neon furry or bandana. It
must be properly worn.) After all,
you’re family. And away you
go.
The room is crowded; you can feel
the heat. The aura of moving,
gyrating bodies waiting with bated breath for the show to begin is palpable,
but you live for this.
The opening music isn’t simply
sound, but a flood of sensation encompassing your entire being. It tingles across your epithelium and
tickles your obsession for bass. Akin
to the most ridiculous foreplay, you know the best part is still yet to come.
You scour for minutes to find the
“sweet spot” for group dancing, jumping, standing, and talking. Just close enough to feel the bass, but
with room to breathe without the oppressive glares of security.
You can’t believe it’s here. Your heart flutters like a
hummingbird’s wings in mid-flight.
The lights dim down.
The crowded yells out in
excitement. AHHHHHHH!!!!!
Then, the bass hits hard, and in
unison, the entire room is moving.
If the “will call” line can hear this, you know they’re shaking it, too. In that moment, you are all one. Everything important to you is in that
room or on that stage. In THAT
moment, you are beyond reality.
Time is frozen.
Then, you blink.
The lights give you the sense of
security that this is, in fact, real.
You breathe to immerse yourself in
the moment.
Then, you blink.
You look at the smiles all around
you, at the love pouring out of each living soul. You concentrate to absorb this feeling to make the
seemingly, everlasting purgatory until the next show more bearable.
Then, you blink.
You dance, you laugh. You rage at the drops.
EDIT: NOW, here's something delicious for you to enjoy.

RMFT: Party Starters
If I took a girl's pants off and saw her wearing these, I'd be speechless. I mean, aside from the neon color and the lace, she obviously gets it. And forget about it, if she's wearing these at a show. I'd be on her like white on rice (yes, asians can use that joke, too. 8D). In the words of my girl B, I definitely like it, so Imma put a ring on it.
Anyways, in light of the excitement that is college football, I decided to give you guys a few tracks for your Saturday festivities. (If you need more music, check out my other posts, of course.) These three tracks will turn your cookout into a dance party, or at least the discussion of whether there needs to be an outing to a club in the post-game. Enjoy. ;P
And here's a bonus. This original song was a youtube sensation in my college days...so to hear a dubstep remix of it is like finding your favorite pair of flipflops from way back and realizing you can still rock them (ignoring the smell), but they still make you feel insanely disgusting just putting them back on your clean feet. This is like that but better. (You don't actually smell a penis when listening to this track.)
